I’m originally from the United Kingdom, but I moved to Perth in Australia in December 2012. I consider myself well-travelled in Southeast Asia, the only countries in the region I haven’t been to are Brunei and Myanmar. All content on this website is created by myself, including the customised wordpress theme, logos, videos, photos and writing, except for other peoples comments of course. My Travel Highlights I have stayed in Australia for a year on a backpacker working holiday visa, where I worked around the Melbourne docks area,…
Thailand has always been one of my favourite places to visit, there’s always something to do for everybody, you can relax on a beach, go in the pool, go for an adventure snorkeling, diving, climbing, the list is almost endless.
But how much can you do in ONE DAY in Thailand, well I’ll pass that over to my friend Chris (who I was in the Philippines with a few weeks ago) over at AdventureHoney.com, he just let me know about a video they made just to show you what can be achieved in just one day in the Thai Paradise, check it out:
Adventure Honey is the go-to place for some cool Southeast Asian experiences, just check out their supercool adventure tours in Thailand for size!
I have decided to start a brand new travel email newsletter for iBackpacker Travel, subscribers will receive some supercool updates about my upcoming projects, travel giveaways and will never miss a beat when it comes to everything backpacking, oh, and I operate on a spam-free basis.
I have some really cool (and surprising!) travel-related projects coming up over the next few months, be the first to find out about them – you will never miss and update.
OK, I admit it, I have neglected my travel blog for a while, I haven’t posted much over the past year or so, but the good news is I recently bought new laptop and intend to blog more often with posts and tips, I’m writing this just to keep you updated on what I’ve got going on at the moment.
So what’s been going on with me recently? I’ve got a few small projects and online travel-related things happening/going to be happening soon. I’m going to be releasing more travel videos which I’m editing on my new laptop, I have another Facebook page going called Paradise Hunter, on which I share photos of paradise locations around the world, I guess I just wanted somewhere to collect my own bucket-list of beautiful locations I’d like to visit! The page is going well so far.
I edited the above photo in the new Photoshop which I think is an amazing piece of software compared to previous versions, I’ve also got a trial of the latest Sony Vegas Pro to edit my travel videos. One of the things I’m into at the moment is levelling up my creative skills, you can have a lot of amazing ideas, but putting them into action is a whole different task.
My last fully-edited short travel film about backpacking smashed the 20,000 views mark on YouTube which I’m pretty proud of – but I won’t stop there! That was a mish-mash of old movies shot on the collection of average-to-terrible cameras I’ve had over the years, now I have a GoPro HD Hero 3 Black Edition, so expect better quality short films from me in the future!
As for travel itself, in the past 12 months I’ve set foot in the UK (old home), France (Paris), Thailand (Phuket, Koh Lanta, Koh Lipe) Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), Australia (new home) and Indonesia (Bali). I’ve also got a couple of other trips happening that I’m excited about – but more on those in the future. I’m living in Perth, Australia.
So there you have it – I haven’t disappeared into oblivion! Stay tuned for some nice updates coming soon.
