Getting from Koh Lanta to Koh Lipe is simpler than it sounds, you will be quoted all these crazy prices from 1,800 THB going up to well over 2000 THB, the fact is, it does not cost that much! Upon arriving at Koh Lipe coming on the ferry from Langkawi in Malaysia, Lipe Beach Resort was the first out of two places I stayed on the island, which is now one of my favorite in Thailand. The resort is located towards the quieter north end of Sunrise Beach, but the island is so small that it's not too hard to walk to anywhere on Koh Lipe from here.
